Our Story
Ashwini and Amar have now been officially "talking" for over 2 years now! How time flies... As many of you know, they met at a wedding where they were both part of the bridal party and barely spoke to each other that weekend. What started as a late night conversation at the after party quietly grew into daily late-night conversations well passed Amar's bedtime. That sparked a connection lasting months through long-distance calls and constant communication. A group trip to Puerto Rico just a couple months after meeting sealed their connection, followed by countless adventures making time for each other. Ashwini eventually moved back to the East Coast—Amar thinks it was because of him, though Ashwini denies it—and the two will now call Philadelphia home. Amar proposed to Ashwini during a fall sunrise in Cape May, New Jersey on 09.27.25. Some things they love to do together are go on summer walks, lounge and watch their next favorite show or movie, spend time with family and friends, but most importantly just be together. Now, they’re super excited to celebrate their love with all of their family and friends!
